DESCRIPTION
Black REMADE shirt made with a 100% cotton base and vintage fabric insert on the back. The decades-old, upcycled fabric is sourced from the countryside of Hungary. The embroidery follows a characteristic but rare pattern used on traditional garments.
The shirt is tailored with the original hem facing made from matte black ribbon, utilising an old garment-making technique used to enhance the longevity of garments. The neckline is finished with a “wolf’s tooth” collar, a type of hemming used on traditional garments.
The one-of-a-kind horn buttons are made by a small, family-owned Italian manufactory using ethically sourced horn collected at the end of the animals’ natural life cycle.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind. Due to the unique nature of the vintage fabrics, the inserts vary in colour and pattern.
