DESCRIPTION
Coat made from upcycled vintage and contemporary fabrics. Sourced from the countryside of Hungary, the 50 to 100-year-old velvet fabric was originally used as headkerchiefs worn on special occassions. The contemporary fabric is woven textile that achieves its fuzzy, three-dimensional texture by using a mix of shorter and longer threads.
The padding is made from patented Italian thindown, the world's first recycled down fabric. This performance fabric is not only a more sustainable option to traditional down paddings, but also offers more warmth in a much thinner form due to its compact fiber construction.
Each garment is produced locally and ethically in Hungary.
Due to the vintage nature of the fabrics, each REMADE piece might show variations in colour and pattern.
