DESCRIPTION
REMADE vest made from upcycled vintage fabric. The design and fabrics originate from the 'berliner-tuch' shawls of Germany, that eventually made their way to Hungary through trading and were colloquially called 'beliner'. Usually made from wool, the square shawls were originally worn folded into a triangle making them a warm alternative to winter coats. The REMADE vest features the original fringes.
The vintage fabric is supported with an additional 100% organic cotton lining that strengthens the material.
Each garment is produced locally and ethically in Hungary. Non-vintage fabrics are certificated materials sourced from qualified European manufacturers.
Each piece in the REMADE line is one-of-a-kind and due to the nature of the vintage fabrics can show variations in pattern and colour.
